Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project is based in Somerville, MA, where they brew their ideas but not their beer. Brewers Dann and Martha Paquette, the minds behind the Pretty Things project, are only a small operation, so they rent their brewing space Buzzard’s Bay Brewing in Westport, MA.

Pretty Things Fluffy White Rabbits triple comes in a 22oz bottle with interesting cartoon graphic artwork on the label. A fine example of an American triple, Fluffy White Rabbits pours a hazy-gold color with a light creamy head. It boasts a crisp graininess and a dry-sweet spiciness, but gains its name from its fluffy mouthfeel. With a faint sweetness and tropical fruit undertones, Fluffy White Rabits has a pleasing taste and a soft final feeling.

Pairing Tripels

The clean flavor and high carbonation of a triple makes it a great pairing for Italian food loaded with Basil. Try our All-Natural Turkey Bolognese or a Grilled Margherita Pizza. Top the pizza with marinated shrimp for an extra palette boost, as triple pairs well with shellfish, too.

Not up for heavy Italian? Try simply swapping out your entrée’s side for fresh grilled asparagus. The sweetness of the triple will balance out the bitterness of the tough green vegetable to create a perfect balance, and may trick you into consuming those extra veggies you sometimes dread.
