It’s September, and like every Autumn Boston swells with both local pride and new arrivals. Freshmen are settling in to their dorms and foliage fanatics are flooding the streets and soaking up our color and New England charm. For those of you not yet familiar with Beacon Hill or it’s favorite neighborhood restaurant, welcome. Let us introduce ourselves.
The Paramount has been a fixture in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood since 1937. The comfortable atmosphere, combined with imaginative food and exceptional value, are what makes the paramount a cherished meeting spot for both locals and visitors. If you are known by the company you keep and often the line extending out on the sidewalk, then you could say that the Paramount is legendary.
Breakfast and lunch are served 7 days a week until 4:30 PM at our casual counter and then transforms to traditional wait service for evening diners. The Improper Bostonian listed the Paramount as their “Best Breakfast” and we garnered Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston 2009 award for “Best Neighborhood Restaurant.” In a city of infinite dining choices, Zagat Survey ranks the Paramount a high 23.
If you are looking to sample a taste of Boston you owe it to yourself to stop by the Paramount.
