Happy Birthday JFK

Happy Birthday, Mr. President!

JFK’s 100th birthday is May 29th, 2017. Boston is celebrating, and so should you. Visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum in South Boston this month to be a part of the centennial. Bring your admission ticket to the 21st Amendment and get a free bowl of New England Clam Chowder.

Wonder why we’re celebrating? Originally the 21st Amendment, or as it was known then as the famous men-only Bellevue Pub, and later, the Golden Dome Pub, was a hangout for some of the state’s most colorful figures. A good part of the Commonwealth’s business was transacted in the Bellevue’s dark corners and John F. Kennedy was rumored to write speeches by the fireplace in the back. We’re not sure if we’re responsible for his meteoric rise to the top, but we’re happy to be a small part of his history.
