These pictures are from part of our monthly wine dinner series… September’s event was a four course pairing dinner hosted by West on Centre and Ruby Wines. For information on upcoming pairing dinners, visit www.westoncentreboston.com/events, or sign up for email notifications on our homepage.

The tables were set with French decor. White linen table clothes. hand cut floral arrangements, and the colors of the French flag adorned each table.

Place settings included wine types, vineyard names, and vintages for each person. Ruby Wines worked closely with our beverage manager to ensure the perfect pairings for each course.

Vermont Goat Cheese Chevre Timbale

The first course was a Vermont chevre timabale with marinated golden & red beets and colorful sauces.

Precision was key to keeping true to the tradition of French cuisine. Here, Chef Dan tops each plate gracefully with garnishes.

Chef loves to add surprise amuse bouches (small bites) for our guests. Here are parmesan puff crostinis, usually only available for our private events.

Course 2 was a seasonal scallop dish. Each painstakingly seared scallop came over a bed of parsnip puree and was accompanied by diced bacon and scallion over butternut squash puree.

Another surprise course from Chef came in between courses.

Course 4 was a nutella-stuffed crepe with a side of vanilla bean poached pears.

We had close to 70 guests for this event! There are no pictures of the third course, a steak frites with house-cut pomme frites, because we were so busy getting the food out to everyone while it was nice and hot. This event was perhaps our most popular to date, besides Sinatra Night and Havana Night. We hope to continue this tradition each month!
